Patricia Mendoza is an Audit Manager at Veridian with public accounting experience since 2018, focusing primarily on nonprofit organizations.
She has broad audit and accounting experience serving nonprofit clients as well as private industry clients, including service providers in the reinsurance and trust services industries, investment companies, and businesses operating in the manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution sectors.
Patricia has extensive experience with federal and state single audits, program-specific audits, preparation of nonprofit tax returns (Form 990), reviews, and compilations. She also has substantial knowledge of Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) issued by the Comptroller General of the United States and possesses the continuing education required by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Government Auditing Standards.
Patricia earned her Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accounting degrees from Florida International University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Patricia also serves as a member of the Not-for-Profit Committee of the FICPA.
